Today, the ocean is polluted by a lot of trash. Plastic accounts for 80% of marine waste, and about 20 million tons
of plastic are thrown into the sea each year. To reduce this pollution, garbage collection is carried out every day, but microplastics, which are small in size, are left unattended because they are difficult to retrieve.
As a result, at least 14 million tons of microplastic waste is piled up at the bottom of the ocean alone, more than 30 times the amount of plastic waste floating on the surface of the sea. Many of these microplastics spread to various populations through the marine food chain and accumulate, and are absorbed back into humans, the top predator, causing various diseases.

VORTEX is a cleaning drone that absorbs and collects microplastics and small wastes that exist on the seabed, and it cleans dangerous and dirty areas such as undersea floors and garbage islands on behalf of humans. It also help you find places where microplastics are saturated and build related big data such as location and video to take further action in the future.
VORTEX는 해저에 존재하는 미세플라스틱과 작은 쓰레기들을 흡입하고 수거하는 청소 드론으로, 사람을 대신하여 해저 바닥이나 쓰레기
섬 등 위험하고 더러운 지역을 청소해줍니다. 또한 미세플라스틱이 포화된 장소를 찾으며 위치와 영상 등 관련 빅데이터를 구축하여 향후
추가 조치를 취할 수 있도록 돕습니다.
